How many unsuccessful relationships do you have? Have you asked yourself why they always end up the same way? I have! And I found out that in my head there are plenty of idealistic images of love. And then I started asking myself where did they get from? And then it struck me ….every day we are flooded with images of the perfect love. The perfect eternal love is everywhere. When we were children we listened to fairy-tales which always ended up the same way “they lived happily ever after” Now when we are grown ups we see this perfect couples on the TV, in the books or somewhere else. And all this forms our view of love and the desired partner. We want the perfect love, the perfect prince. But think about that… what happens after that “happily ever after”. Maybe the prince and the princess decided to get divorce ?!? No one knows . The story stops in their state of perfection. The true love isn’t perfect. In fact sometimes it can get ugly and painful. True love is to know your partner’s demons and love him despite them. True , real love is imperfect, but isn’t that challenging?
